Black Friday - Laundry - Frequently Asked Questions

Is Black Friday a good time to buy a washing machine in Australia?

Black Friday is one of the biggest retail sales of the year, and washing machines and dryers are often heavily discounted. Buying in late November also means a new machine is ready before the holiday washing piles up.

Front loaders are generally gentler on clothes and more water-efficient, while top loaders are easier to load without bending down. The best choice this Black Friday comes down to your laundry space and how you like to wash.

As a rough guide, a 7 to 8kg machine suits a couple or small family, while larger families may want 10kg or more. A bigger drum also makes it easier to wash doonas and bulky bedding for a bedroom refresh. Consider your household size and regular washing needs to pick the perfect washing machine this Black Friday.

Yes, you can shop the Black Friday laundry sale on the Stan Cash website or pop into your local store to see the machines in person. Joining the Stan Cash newsletter is the easiest way to hear about new washing machine deals as they drop.
