Bringing induction cooking and a multifunction oven together, the Smeg 90cm Portofino Induction Pyrolytic Freestanding Oven – Stainless Steel suits households that prepare a wide variety of meals. Its Triple Fan technology spreads heat evenly throughout the oven, reducing hot and cold spots. Multizone cooking allows separate areas of the cavity to be used at once, so dishes that need different temperatures can be cooked together. Steam assisted cooking introduces humidity to help keep food moist, and the Air Fry, BBQ and Stone cooking modes provide options for crisp, grilled and stone-baked results. The integrated food probe reads the core temperature of meat and other foods while they cook, giving a clear indication of doneness. After use, the pyrolytic function heats the interior to a very high temperature, reducing residue to ash that can be removed with a damp cloth.
